The ever-popular Canal Festival will be returning this year. Organised by the Canal and River Trust, it brings a promise of fun for the whole family with a wide variety of free land and water- based activities aimed specially at children. These include boat rides, kayaking, paddle-boarding, face-painting, and a climbing wall, plus a programme of musical entertainment and lots of stalls.
Cost: Free, no need to book
