Hillingdon Arts Association

The Hillingdon Arts Association (HAA) was founded in the 1960s by the newly formed London Borough of Hillingdon, to help disburse an annual grant made by the Council to help voluntary arts groups in the area. Ever since then the HAA has championed the cause of performing, musical, visual and literary arts and crafts.

Charity
In 2004 it became a Registered Charity.  The object of this Charity is to promote the voluntary arts sector for the public good in the general area of the Borough of Hillingdon;

  1. by providing advice, support, assistance and resources to voluntary arts organisations and charities.
  2. by advancing the education of the general public by encouraging its appreciation and knowledge of the arts and by promoting and encouraging education of the participants in the Borough of Hillingdon.

Today
The membership of the HAA includes societies, associations, groups of societies, organisations, clubs, classes and individuals dedicated to producing and teaching all types of arts and crafts for the enjoyment and participation of the different communities in Hillingdon.
