Ickenham Hall

The Grade II listed Ickenham Hall is attached, at the rear to the foyer Compass Theatre. The Hall's former residents built a children's theatre in their back garden. The Hall and Theatre were given to the Council in the late 1960s and has since been used for community arts and youth arts education.

Friends of Ickenham Hall was established in 2009 specifically to raise funds for repair, conservation and where possible restoration work on Ickenham Hall. The Hall is a Grade II listed Georgian mansion dating from 1740. Whilst the main structure is basically sound and largely in its original state it is much in need of work on its doors and windows. The front gardens which include a walled area had over the years become somewhat neglected and overgrown with weeds.

The purpose of the Friends Of Ickenham Hall is to raise awareness of the Hall and the work which is being done to restore and maintain it. You can discover more about the Hall, the work of the Friends so far and their plans for the future on their website.

Friends of Ickenham Hall raise funds through Quiz 'n' Chip nights, Murder Mystery evenings, tours and thorugh the theatre's Seat Sponsorship scheme.
