Craft Cart Sheds at Manor Farm


Manor Farm is Hillingdon Council's flagship heritage site and it includes five Craft Cart Sheds, subsidised by the council, in which local craftspeople make and sell their work.  These Craft Cart Sheds can be found on the Bury Street side of the Great Barn.

The artists and artisans currently operating from our Craft Cart Sheds are:

Craft Shed 1: Blank Canvas Art Club  an inspiring art club for kids and adults. 07773 819 603

Craft Shed 2: The Fairy Maker  individually hand-crafted miniature works of fairy art. 

Craft Shed 3: Shaker Maker  Shaun Higgins making bespoke fine furniture and free standing kitchens

Craft Shed 4: Little Willows hand-painted ceramics, wooden keepsake boxes, Pottery Parties and more.

Craft Shed 5: Sumi London Mita Samanta designs and manufactures leather and non-leather goods.

Occupant required at the Cart Shed 1, which is next to the Great Barn at Manor Farm, in Ruislip.

Manor Farm is Hillingdon's flagship heritage and culture site and houses a unique collection of community spaces, historic buildings, archaeological remains and landscape features set in 22 acres of beautiful grounds.

We are seeking an occupant for one of our Cart Shed workshops who is a practising artist/artisan, and who will complement the existing activity and practitioners on the site.

Rebates to the rent are available for occupants who open regularly to the public and who participate in site events, meaning that the commercial annual rent can be reduced to a minimum £2,820 annually if the occupant meets agreed performance standards for opening hours and public activity. (The full commercial rent is £4,800.)

Cart Shed 1 is a rectangular studio with a floor space of approximately 257 sqft.
