Local author and historian Jem Duducu presents
Unusual Facts from History

at Uxbridge Library
Unusual Facts from History
part of Hillingdon's Arts In Action 2018 season

Jem Duducu, author of Forgotten History: Unbelievable Moments From The Past, will be at this event at Uxbridge Library, sharing his love of history.

Too often, we go back to the usual stories but the study of humanity throughout all ages has led to fascinating moments being forgotten.

Did you know, for example, that one pope was dug up and put on trial by his successor?

Or that Dr Guillotine did not invent the execution device and was actually against the death penalty?

Or that the Nazis tried to breed a super cow?

This is a free event, for which you may book in advance through Uxbridge Library. To book call Uxbridge Library on 01895 250714 or email culturebite@hillingdon.gov.uk

This event is part of Hillingdon's Arts In Action 2018 season, which runs from Wednesday 20 June until to Sunday 15 July. Browse the rest of the season and find out more at www.hillingdon.gov.uk/artsinaction
