The Lady Vanishes
Derek Webb's adaptation from The Wheel Spins by Ethel White

On a train headed for England is a mixed group of travellers, one of which, wealthy socialite Iris Carr, who befriends an elderly woman, Miss Froy.  After lunch and a nap, Iris wakes to find Miss Froy has disappeared.  She is astonished to find that everyone in the compartment denies her ever being there!

What secrets are being hidden by the sinister Doctor, the fierce Baroness, Mr and Mrs Todhunter and the Vicar and his wife? Meeting up with Max and his friend the Professor, Iris determines to get to the bottom of the mystery – a quest with possibly fatal consequences.   As Max and Iris try to find answers to the mysterious disappearance, romance blossoms.
