Featuring James Rich (marimba) and Paul Greally (organ)

The Pinner Music Festival ‘Home Team’ perform English Choral anthems, opening with four by the great Henry Purcell, including O Sing Unto The Lord and Rejoice in the Lord Always. Works by Edward Bairstow and Malcolm Boyle follow a solo marimba work by Mitchell Peters (percussionist of the LA Philharmonic), played by choir member James Rich.

After the interval, the choir sing two sections from John Rutter’s lovely Requiem and anthems by John Ireland, followed by the amazing Paul Greally performing the Fantasia and Toccata by Stanford.

The choir round off their concert with A Spotless Rose by Herbert Howells (125th Anniversary) and Parry’s glorious I Was Glad.
