The Chameleons are proud to present 'A Rolls-Royce of a Farce' (Charles Spencer, Daily Telegraph) - It Runs in the Family by Ray Cooney, the British playwright and actor.

Dr Mortimore is preparing to deliver a career-defining lecture in an international conference, which requires careful preparation and precise rehearsal.  Amidst his preparations, he is at once thwarted by a severe distraction in the form of an estranged lover and once nurse at his hospital who brings with her some hefty baggage that is crying for its long-lost father. Not to be left aside, the matron of the hospital (and not to mention his wife) provides yet more difficulties and he resorts to cunningly employing his esteemed colleague to help negotiate a sticky situation.

Throw in a spot of cross-dressing, Christmas arrangements and a Police Constable and the result is an assortment of farcical nuts running in and out of doors mistaking everybody for someone else!
