This 1-hour introductory session will give you the opportunity to find out more about mindfulness and experience some brief practices.  The workshop can be attended as a one-off event or in preparation for attending our 8 week Mindfulness for Wellbeing course starting on 12 May 2018 at Compass Theatre.
Mindfulness has been shown to improve well-being in a growing number of clinical trials. It can help us to increase our enjoyment of life and appreciate the things that are important as well as:

  • Optimise well-being
  • Manage stress, anxiety, depression or living with long-term pain or a
  • Physical health condition
  • Calm busy minds
  • Be more fully present in the moment
  • Live life fully

Charlotte Morris and Costas Lambropoulos have trained in Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) at the Oxford Mindfulness Centre. They have extensive experience of working in the NHS as cognitive behavioural therapists, mindfulness teachers and trainers.

Price £10 (the fee for this introductory workshop will be taken off the price of the 8 week course, if you decide to enrol).

Schedule 1-Hour Introductory workshop on:

  • Saturday 28 April 2018 from 11am until 12pm
  • Saturday 5 May 2018 from 10am until 11am

An 8-week course will also run on Saturdays: 12 May-14 July 2018, 1000 until 1200 (no sessions on 26 May and 30 June)
