Esprit de Corps: Royal Air Force Squadronaires
at Winston Churchill Theatre
Originally formed in 1939 by members of the Central Band of the Royal Air Force, the Royal Air Force Squadronaires soon gained a reputation for versatility and flare, developing a distinctive style that rivalled many American bands.
The same band ethos continues to this day, as the full-time professional musicians of the Royal Air Force bring the unique big band sound of the Squadronaires back to Ruislip as part of the 2023 ‘Esprit de Corps’ concert series.
